We design motion graphics for television, web videos, smartphones, and live events. Our clients range from startups to Fortune 500 companies to Hollywood studios and Oscar-winning producers.
Although our focus is design and animation, we work with you through every phase of your project, from discussing your brand and business, to writing and finessing your script, and even to producing voiceover and music.

JOSEPH SILVER, CREATIVE DIRECTOR, FOUNDERSince 1994, Joseph has been a broadcast designer for television networks and leading advertising agencies. After helping launch design and animation studios at Curious Pictures, Nickelodeon, and the NBA, he decided to devote all his energies to Designomotion. Joseph studied Fine Arts and Anthropology at Columbia University where he earned his BA. He is also an award-winning poet.
JAE-HO CHANG, LIVE ACTION DIRECTORJae-Ho has worked as a Producer, Editor, and Cinematographer for HBO Real Sports, American Movie Classic Channel, and Fuse. His feature-length documentary entitled ‘Ultimate Christian Wrestling’ won Honorable Mention at the 2007 Tribeca All-Access Creative Promise Awards. For his BFA he attended the Rhode Island School of Design where he studied Film/Video/Animation.
JORDIE SHAPIRO, EDITORWhile working at Publicis, Jordie cut video pitches and corporate films for Citibank, Heineken, Whirlpool, Maytag and many more. He also helped create shows for Court-TV, Lifetime, Discovery, TLC, DIY, and Mojo HD. Jordie attended Goucher College where he concentrated in Creative Writing.
GABRIEL MENEZES, BROADCAST DESIGNERA native of Brazil, Gabriel has worked as a designer and animator on projects for MTV, Nokia, the Beijing Olympics, and music videos. He helped launch broadcast design startups in both Brazil and New York City, including Animoto.
YIFAN WANG, ANIMATORA native Chinese speaker, Yifan worked at MTV Networks in New York prior to animating for Designomotion. She also worked for TV series production and advertising in China. Yifan received her BA in Communication from the Sichuan International Studies University.
